And where has she gone?

Recently a former partner and good friend sent me a couple of zip files of old material he found on backup discs. Along with some cringe-inducing stabs at short story-writing, there was a boatload of photos. I was writing when the email arrived but just like that I went down a serious rabbit hole and am still dusting the residue off my hippocampus.
