As I was reading along I was thinking “She talked”. That’s what slammed the door in my face; although I went to my Mom’s funeral knowing full well I would be snubbed. And I was. Roundly.

And I’m glad I went. I have one grown niece with whom I stay in touch peripherally. The rest, my god, I hope they find a way to some kind of peace.
