We actually went to a free legal workshop run by the speaker of city council and the lawyer told us to toss the rider. It’s illegal for them to change the terms of our rent stabilization without having stipulated this new “rule” from the initial lease (18 years ago) and on every subsequent renewal. And then the pandemic hit, so who the hell knows what’s going to happen now! You doing ok out there?
