This isn’t a city that will gently hold your hand and make sure you get across the street in one piece. In fact, this is the kind of city that will swerve in your direction, hit a puddle, and laugh. So watch where you’re walking but keep an eye in every direction while you’re at it. You don’t want to miss a thing.

Could be just about anywhere in the city but happens to be on Canal Street

I tend to often travel the city with my trusty personal paparazzo at my side. The man, AleXander Hirka, is the soul of patience and has a damned sharp eye. I’m constantly back-tracking to ask for a photo of this or that. I may see whatever it is first but he’s the one who can really pull it all into a great composition.

6th Avenue is where everyone shops for furniture. In the street.
