This is a great in-depth review and parsing of Farhadi’s movie and thanks for taking the time spent. I have to say that as a huge fan of Farhadi, I was disappointed in this movie. It lacked the fluency, subtlety, and insights of films like “The Salesman”, “A Separation”, or “About Elly”.

That said, the more people discovering this amazing filmmaker, the better, and if it takes an occasional (to me) bit of fluff like this, so be it.
