Thanks so much for writing this, Brian! I always get so much from your more “how-to” pieces (and very much appreciate your generosity) but I loved this peek into your other life.

I was 52 when I met AleXander, my partner of 8 years now, and similar to your experience, after decades of bad relationships and stretches of singleness, with him everything just fit like a dream. He’s supportive and open and affectionate and loving. And it delights me no end to hear that you’re experiencing that kind of love now, too.

I’ll wave as we spend our annual two days in Reno in prep for Burning Man. I feel a real fondness for that curious little city and always look forward to our time there (it’s where we got married).
