Thanks for sharing this as difficult as I know it was. I had “that” boss, a woman who belittled me in front of co-workers, called me pathetic and slow. Worse, she wasn’t the first or only bad boss I had when I was working in immigration law. I loved the work, cared tremendously for the clients and got many people their precious visas so they could work in their chosen fields in the US, but ultimately that name-calling, vindictive, nasty woman drove me out of the field.
