Take Care of Your People…
Or they will take care of you
It could take a long time. Long enough for you, the so-called leaders, to forget those times you diverted funding, closed hospitals, cut services, and pocketed bribes.
The people might seem to forget.
“The people”, after all, don’t come across as the brightest bulbs on the tree if you take my meaning.
I mean look at them.
Have you ever seen a more pathetic bunch? Oh, wait. Right. As I recall those loser serfs back in Russia in 1917 were a pretty sad sack bunch. And that gang of ignorant French peasants back in 1789? As if those malnourished factory lackeys and illiterate pig farmers would be a threat to anyone.
Care to take that up with Tsar Nicholas II or Marie Antoinette?
Sure, the current state of “The people” in the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave is pretty dodgy. They’re obese and easily distracted. They think in terms of video games and movies so they’re always looking for the bad guy to blame when things go south. So far, you leader-types have played them pretty successfully.
But all your money and all your backroom deals and all your careful strategies went right out the window on election night 2016.
