OMG, this! I worked in an office building at 55th and 6th Avenue years ago and was so cold that I brought a space heater in. I plugged it in and was able for once to type without pausing to sit on my hands. Then everything went dark. I'd blown a fuse that shut that whole section of the floor down.

Now I work from home and I, too, have one AC unit: in the bedroom/office/breakfast nook.
