My relief at the failed real estate developer being reelected was tempered by knowing that Joe has a long history of trying to gut social programs. From what I understand in this case however, the deed is being done behind his back which makes it even creepier and more damaging.

I look around and don’t see very many governments truly representing the interests of the people.
