I grew up in single-family houses. Big houses. Houses with upstairs and downstairs and front doors and back doors. Houses with driveways and garages. Houses that routinely needed painting and having roofs and/or basement foundations repaired. Houses that required the installation of storm windows in the fall and lawns that weren’t going to mow themselves.
