Let The Avalanche Rip!
Not what I expected but happy nevertheless…

My partner in life and art and I packed up several copies each of our recently published books and schlepped them down to Village Works Book Shop, a unique little independent bookstore that happens to sit across the street from where the original St. Mark’s Book Shop once sat on, where else?, St. Mark’s Place on the lower east side of Manhattan.
Joseph Sheridan, the proprietor, had graciously accepted three copies of my first book, “Plague Year, New York City, 2020” a year ago. I brought the second edition which proudly bears my very first author blurb provided by legendary poet, editor, anthologist and founder of Canada’s first gay literary publishing house, Catalyst Press, Ian Young.

Additionally, I brought a couple of (signed) copies of “Graceless” which are now available, too. AleXander, said partner in life and art, brought copies of his newly published book, “Withdrawing Fables From The Memory Bank” which are also signed and available at Village Works Book Shop as well as online at Barnes & Noble.

In passing, Joseph mentioned that sometimes their books show up on Abe Books’ site. That was enough for me. On the subway home I asked The Google about books by T. Remington on that site. Bingo!
The weird bit is that one of my books appearing for sale now on Abe Books wasn’t the new one I dropped off with Joseph today. In fact, I have no idea how my first collection of short stories, “Nice Try” wound up on this site.

Just to make sure that the weird keeps getting weirder, somehow it’s now possible to purchase a used copy of “Plague Year” from a seller called GreatBookPricesUK for a mere $49.99. Wait. What? (Not really what I’d call a great price, btw)
