It’s Real All Right
Even if it seems like a slightly questionable docu-drama
I don’t recall Cleveland being like this and I’m sure Lodi, Ohio (bless its heart) certainly wasn’t. But there’s definitely a bizarre edge to the simplest things I see walking down the streets of New York City. It might have something to do with all the movies that have been made here. Or maybe I just did more than my fair share of hallucinogens (well, that’s a given). It could simply be the toll of living in a plague for two years and counting.
But whatever it is, it is! I don’t even have to look for the weird in this city anymore. It walks right up and taps me on the shoulder whenever I leave my apartment. Wait. You’re right. The weird lives right in my apartment.
