In my experience, it was a hellish, horrible job to have. But it was easier than waiting tables. I wound up going to college at the age of 40 to make sure I never had to clean another hotel room. I may still be in a hella debt, but I’ve never had to resort to cleaning to earn a tiny paycheck again.
