I’m so glad I read this. We’re off to Spain at the end of the month and as we’re watching videos about the cities we’ll be visiting I keep feeling twinges whenever the cheerful narrator intones anything about “Spain’s glorious days of power”.

Power at whose expense? Ugh. And I’m going anyway and will have a marvelous time and I will not ignore those twinges.
