I don’t disagree but it drives me crazy that twice we’ve had a committed public servant, ready to sacrifice his own reputation and life in order to maybe possibly achieve some of the things that the voters of this country actually need. Health care, housing, education, social justice. But nope. The Money doesn’t want those things and we couldn’t muster enough juice to stand up to The Money. It’s tragic as hell. We aren’t to the point of Venezuela but anyone who thinks that the Democratic Establishment can keep us from heading in that direction hasn’t been paying attention.

If Biden and Co don’t significantly address the real pain of people in this country (IF he wins and it’s terrifying that he’s actually losing ground in the polls), watch for something far worse than the idiot in the White House next go-round.

I so appreciate your reading and what you write. You’ve got a unique perspective similar to my friend, Peter, who played oboe for The Venezuela Symphony Orchestra for decades. He’s stranded in Philly now and has friends watching his cat and his apartment in Caracas.

What a world!

Hugs, my friend and hugs to Diego.
