My two worked more as deterrents than as actual hunters. The one night a very confused mouse did come into the apartment, JJ and Alice chased it all over the place. But as soon as they got it cornered they had no idea what to do with it. I’ve been told that a cat won’t hunt and kill prey unless it's been taught how to by its mother. I guess if it gets hungry enough it might.
