Erm, actually I've never once yearned to "own" land or four walls to call my own. I watched my father struggle to keep up with the mortgage on a 4-bedroom house in East Podunk, Ohio (that cost $12,000 in 1967) while constantly having to replace the roof, the windows, the walls of the basement. That's when I understood that no one owns property. Property owns you.
