One of these days I need to get out in front of a promising trend. The whole mask thing, yeah that ship has sailed (although……..yellow and blue masks? Hmmmmm).
To say that I’m not an early adapter would be a laughable understatement. It’s a wonder I’m not still using a buttonhook on my shoes.
However, if I were serious about pursuing retro, why not get down and real dirty with that? Sure, if everyone’s going to be carrying on and on about how it’s getting to be like the 70s in this city, maybe it’s time to take that to the next level. After all, it wasn’t just rampant crime and garbage that made the 70s so compelling, amiright? There was filth, cheap sex, and stuff being held together with duct tape. Just like now!
Oh, who am I kidding? I’m not motivated enough to get out there and hustle some hotshot idea into the Next Big Thing. I’m no mover and shaker. Marketing? That sounds like work to me. Kudos to the whiz kid who opened a Diego Maradona-themed restaurant down on…
